Lois Ferguson is a noted home economist and registered dietitian. A graduate of the University of Guelph with a B.H.Sc. in Food and Nutrition, she has worked in the food industry since 1972. She has been director of communication for the Grocery Products Manufacturers of Canada, food and nutrition specialist at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, president of the Coffee Council of Canada and dietitian and promotion manager with the Ontario Turkey Producers Marketing Board.

In 1992, Lois established Malibu Consulting International, offering her professional expertise in food-related promotions and product development.

Lois is also a motivational speaker, leading seminars on healthy lifestyles and enhancing self-esteem.
