2/3 cup (150 mL) butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup (150 mL) brown sugar
2 large eggs
1½ cups (375 mL) old-fashioned oats
1½ cups (375 mL) flour
I tsp (5 mL) baking soda
½ tsp (2 mL) salt
1 package (170g) Ocean Spray® Craisins® Dried Cranberries Original
30 mint chocolate flavoured kiss-shaped candies
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Beat butter and sugar in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mixing well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each addition. Stir in dried cranberries.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Immediately press a mint chocolate candy into the centre of each cookie.
Cool on a wire rack.
Makes approximately 2½ dozen cookies
