1 pkg (300 g) milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup (125 mL) packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (50 mL) butter, softened
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
1 cup (250 mL) all purpose flour
1/2 tsp (2 mL) baking powder
1 pkg (142 g) Craisins® Dried Cranberries Cherry
1 cup (250 mL) pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Pour 3/4 cup (175 mL) chocolate chips into an uncovered large microwave-safe bowl. Set remaining chips aside. Microwave chips for 2 minutes on medium. Stir until chocolate is smooth.
Stir in sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until thoroughly combined. Stir in remaining chocolate chips, Craisins® Cherry Flavour Sweetened Dried Cranberries and pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls (15 mL) onto cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are puffed and set to the touch. For a firmer cookie bake for 14 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
