1 cup (250mL) low fat mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup (50mL) sugar
2 tbsp (30mL) red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp (2mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1mL) black pepper
5 cups (1.25L) broccoli florets, cut into 1/2 inch (12mm) pieces
1/2 cup (125mL) chopped red onion
1 cup (250mL) shredded old cheddar cheese
1 cup (250mL) cooked, crumbled bacon pieces
1 cup (250mL) sunflower seeds
1 cup (250mL) Craisins® Dried Cranberries
Combine all salad ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
Combine dressing ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
Mix until thoroughly combined using a fork or wire whisk.
Add dressing to salad and mix well.
Refrigerate 1 hour. Makes 8 servings.
