Mulled Cranberry Wine
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) Ocean Spray® Cranberry Cocktail
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) dry red wine
3/4 tsp (4 mL) grated lemon peel
3/4 tsp (4 mL) grated orange peel
6 whole cardamom
6 cloves
2 3-inch (7.5 cm) cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup (50 mL) Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries
2 tbsp (30 mL) Slivered almonds
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries and almonds, in a large saucepan. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Strain punch to removes spices.
Place 1 tbsp (15 mL) Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries and 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) almonds in bottom of each punch glass. Pour mulled wine over mixture. Makes 4 servings.
