Quicky Cranberry Grilling Sauce
INGREDIENTS
Sauce Base 1 can (348mL) Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
1 1/4 cup (300mL) apricot jam
1/4 cup (50mL) vinegar
2 tbsp (30mL) Worcestershire sauce
Hot Seasoning
1/4 tsb (1mL) cayenne pepper OR
1 tbsp (15mL) diced, canned jalapeno peppers OR
3 tbsp (45mL) finely chopped sweet onion PLUS hot pepper sauce to taste
Directions:
Combine base ingredients with your choice of ONE hot seasoning, in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Whisk vigorously and frequently. Reduce heat to a low boil. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, whisking occasionally. Cool to room temperature or chill until needed. Use as a grilling sauce for poultry, pork or beef. Makes about 2-1/2 cups (625 mL).
