Cranberry Orange Granita

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (348 mL) Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) ginger ale
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) orange juice
  • mint sprig, garnish

DIRECTIONS

Put all ingredients except garnish in food processor. Process until the mixture is smooth. Pour into a non-metal 8-inch (20 cm) square dish. Freeze just until firm, about 3 hours. Break up into pieces and process again until smooth. Return cranberry mixture to dish and freeze until firm. Remove from freezer just prior to serving. Scoop into dessert dishes and garnish with mint leaves.

*Can also use sparkling wine in place of the ginger ale. Makes 4 servings.
