- ¼ cup (50 mL) margarine or butter
- 1 pkg (250g about 40) regular or 5 cups/1.25 L miniature marshmallows
- 5 cups (1.25 L) Rice Krispies* cereal (any flavor)
- ¾ cup (175 mL) Ocean Spray® Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries
- ½ cup (125 mL) roasted green pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup (250 mL) Nestle TOLL HOUSE semi-sweet chocolate morsels
DIRECTIONS
DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows; stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in cereal, dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds; stir until well coated. Stir in 3/4 cup (175 mL) of the chocolate morsels, just until combined.
Using lightly buttered rubber spatula, press into buttered 13x9-inch (33x23 cm) pan. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup (50 mL) chocolate morsels; press into surface. Allow to cool.
Cut into 5 cm (2-inch) squares.
Best if served the same day.
