Cranberry Pineapple Glazed Ham
Ingredients
1 cup (250 mL) Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1/4 cup (50 mL) frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
1 8 lb (4 kg) fully cooked boneless ham
1 c. à table (15 mL) de vinaigre balsamique
1 c. à thé (5 mL) de basilic frais haché
4 tranches minces d'oignon rouge, séparées en anneaux
4 tranches de poitrine de dinde (environ 3 oz/90 mL) cuite
1 tasse (250 mL) de fromage Monterey Jack râpé
Steps
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
Combine cranberry sauce, pineapple juice concentrate and cornstarch in small saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Press mixture through a sieve; discard residue.
Place ham on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer into thickest part of ham. Bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until thermometer registers 135°F (55°C) to 140°F (60°C). Liberally baste ham with glaze during last 45 minutes of baking. Makes 24 servings.
