Cranberry Maple BBQ Sauce
Cranberry Sauce (Ocean Spray, Jellied Can, 1/2 cup)
Maple Syrup (1/4 cup )
Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp)
Worcestershire Sauce (2 Tbsp)
Olive Oil (2 Tbsp)
Lemon Juice (2 Tbsp)
Mustard (1 Tbsp)
Ketchup (1/4 cup)
Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
Bay Leaves (2 leaves)
Salt (2 tsp)
Pepper (1 tsp)
Steps
Make and set your Cranberry Maple BBQ Sauce before grilling your chicken wings. To do so, in a medium size pot, on medium high heat, add all your bbq sauce ingredients. Continuously stir while bringing your sauce to a boil. Let it boil for 1-2 minutes before removing from heat. Let cool and set.
Next, grill your chicken wings by preheating your BBQ to 400 degrees. If using a gas or charcoal grill. BBQ them indirectly (not directly under heat source, but to the side) Using a paper towel or cloth, pat dry your chicken wings. Use a simple rub by combining equal parts, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sprinkle on chicken wings on all sides. Place your chicken wings directly onto your grill. Grill on one side for 5-7 minutes, flip and repeat the process on the other side.
Once your chicken wings reach an internal temperature of 170-180 degrees. Remove and toss/coat in your cranberry maple BBQ sauce. Garnish with crasins (optional) and Enjoy!
